Model Download: Anastasia Eremenko
Anastasia Eremenko is an upcoming model, standing at a stunning 5 foot 10.5 inches in height. Anastasia's agencies include Storm London, Q Models NYC, and Monster Model Management to name a few. Her platinum blonde hair and her gorgeous grey eyes create an intriguing beauty. Eremenko was born in 1990, in Rostov, Russia. There is no surprise to how down-to-earth and sweet this Russian beauty is. After emailing her the same questions I asked Malaika Firth, this is her response.
Q: Who's your biggest style inspiration?
A: "I can't say that I have one person in particular who I admire, but living in NYC gives me an opportunity to meet so many stylish people every day. I've never wanted to dress up exactly like someone else though. As a model you always have to look great, and 'dress to impress', so the client can see your personality through the way you look. Unfortunately on castings you don't have much time for the client to get to know you. My favorite brands are; Domir Doma, Rick Owens, Helmut Lang, All Saints, and Vince. Also H&M, Topshop, as well as vintage clothing because it always helps me with styling. Everything that I wear everyday has to be comfortable and has to feel like me."
Q: What's the one item you always have with you?
A: "This is a tough question because I have two things I never leave behind at my house. Chapstick is the first one, I always have 3 to 5 different lip balms in my purse. It's my obsession! And the second thing is a pair of sunglasses, unfortunately my eyes are very sensitive to the sun."
Q: What's the best modelling experience you've had so far?
A: "I'm very lucky because I've had a lot of great experiences modelling, even though I haven't done it for that long. I guess the first runway show for any model is unforgettable. I did the Marissa Webb show at NYFW last September (2013). It was the first time I've walked at the Lincoln Center, on the first day of fashion week. It was very stressful. Everyone was running around like crazy, but then the music started to play, and I went on the stage and it felt amazing. At that moment nothing scares you anymore. It was an amazing collection with an amazing team at an amazing place! I will never forget the first runway walk of my life, and I've even kept the actual shoes I walked in! But I'm sure I will have many more great experiences in my modelling career as it's just the beginning."
A few things I've learned after that virtual interview is:
1) Anastasia has sensitive eyes, like me.
2) She's extremely sweet and humble.
3) Anastasia Eremenko is keen to climb higher into the modelling industry and I admire her determination for success.
