Cruise 2015: Christian Dior

The ready-to-wear Cruise 2015 collection from Dior featured many trends and intricate designs. From art inspired prints to the business girl on the run. There's a large selection of colours and materials that have been used to help create another brilliant collection from Dior.

The selected photo to the left is my favourite piece from the ready-to-wear collection, I love the bold artistic print on the sleeveless jacket and the flow of the silk skirt. I also really like the multi-coloured tweed jacket and skirt, as well as the embroidered printed silk and heather tweed scarf dresses. The skirts of the dresses move really nicely on the runway and the touch of colour and sparkle adds a beautiful finish.

Artistic director Raf Simons says he discovered some of the prints he used for the show from the house archives. The rest were expertly created specifically for this fantastic collection. "I wanted to explore print without being too romantic about it," he said. "I was surprised by how raw and artistic some of the archival scarves were."
